Team 18 has appointed Bruin Beasley as its new team manager, replacing Steve Henderson following his off-season departure.

Beasley has held managerial roles at Toyota Racing Series squad MTEC Motorsport and championship-winning team Minda Motorsport, while also formerly being the operations manager at Winton Motor Raceway and recently with successful junior formula teams in Europe.

He also has Supercars experience having been part of the management group and team manager at Erebus Motorsport.

Beasley will start with the team in the lead up to Winton and will head up the racing operations of the squad owned by Charlie Schwerkolt.

“Charlie has brought in a group of really talented people from our drivers and engineers to mechanics and support staff, so I hope I can bring my experience from working with other professional outfits around the world to deliver some strong results for the team on track,” says Beasley.

“It’s exciting to get back into the Supercars paddock. It really is one of the toughest racing series in the world with the quality of competition and we know Scott and Mark can fight right up there with the best of them.

“I’m looking forward to kicking off with the team this weekend at Winton and working to achieve great things into the future.”
