Youngster joins Tickford enduro wildcard
Darwin breakthrough secures Campbell Logan’s long-awaited Supercars debut alongside Ben Gomersall
Tickford Racing has confirmed rising star Campbell Logan will make his Supercars debut alongside Ben Gomersall in the team’s Ryco Enduro Cup wildcard entry at The Bend, completing the team’s 2026 wildcard driver line-up.
Logan, who joined the Tickford Autosport Program this year, earned the opportunity after an impressive run of form in the Dunlop Super2 Championship. The Tasmanian claimed his first Super2 podium, race victory and round win at the recent Darwin Triple Crown and currently sits second in the championship standings.
The pairing will contest the opening round of the Ryco Enduro Cup at The Bend in September, with Logan set to complete his Enduro Test Day programme following the Sprint Cup finale at Ipswich in August.
The announcement also confirms Tickford’s 2026 wildcard program will be made up entirely of drivers from its Autosport development pathway. Reuben Goodall will drive the Townsville wildcard, while Gomersall will contest Ipswich before teaming with Logan for the endurance event.
Tickford Racing CEO Simon Brookhouse said Logan had earned the opportunity through his performances and commitment.
“To complete the Wildcard Program with a full Tickford Autosport lineup is fantastic and a testament to the driver talent we hold within the team,” Brookhouse said.
“Since joining the team Campbell has demonstrated the commitment to his craft and it was great to see him achieve the results he did in Darwin.
“He is well deserving of this opportunity and I have no doubt that utilising our experienced main game drivers will give him the best chance to get the most out of this Wildcard entry.”
Logan described the chance to race in the Supercars Championship as the fulfilment of a long-held ambition.
“I’ve always dreamed of racing in Supercars and to be able to finally debut in the main game alongside Ben Gomersall at The Bend truly is surreal,” Logan said.
“Off the back of a round win in Darwin for Super2, I’m confident I’m ready to take the next step but I know it’ll be a massive learning experience.”
The young driver said the Tickford Autosport programme and the guidance of Cam Waters, Thomas Randle and Mark Winterbottom had played a key role in his development as he prepares for his first appearance in a Gen3 Ford Mustang.
