WAU reveals 2025 liveries

Optus has returned as co-naming rights partner for the fourth year to once again join Mobil 1 on Chaz Mostert’s Mustang #25. The vibrant teal can be seen throughout the car alongside the Optus logo which is visible on the side of the car with their signature Yes on the roof. 

“The fans loved the black livery on the Mobil 1 Optus Racing No. 25 last year and we just had to keep it for them again this year. We’ve added a bit more colour which really makes the car pop; it’s an enhanced version of the ’24 car and I can’t wait for everyone to see it in person,” Mostert said.

“I think one of the most pleasing things for me every year is to see how many partners we have that have continued on with our team, there’s so much loyalty all across the car, whether it’s Mobil 1 and Optus, but also Morris who have been around for 15 years this year, Niterra returning, it’s just really cool to feel that support each year. 

“The team has worked extremely hard during the off season, yet again, it’s about time we head out on track and show this bad boy off! It’s going to be a big year, Car 25 in ’25 has a pretty good ring to it, so we are all pretty keen to make it one to remember.” 

Meanwhile, Ryan Wood will get behind the wheel of the 2025-livered Mobil 1 Truck Assist Racing Mustang at Sydney Motorsport Park for the first test day of the 2025 Supercars Championship Season on February 19. 

“The Mobil 1 Truck Assist Mustang looks amazing; it’s a level up on last year’s design, I am super excited to hit the track in Sydney to show the black, orange and white rocket off under lights,” Wood said.

“It’s awesome to have the continued support of Mobil 1 and Truck Assist again this year, to be honest, every one of our partners was so supportive of me in my first year, you really feel like they always have your back which is a cool feeling as a driver. We’ve also got a heap of new partners on board this year, which is awesome, so I’m pumped to be able to represent them as well. 

“It’s going to be a huge year, year two isn’t going to be any easier than year one so we’ve been putting in a heap of work to continue to move forward – we want some trophies this year that’s for sure. 

“It’s been far too long since Adelaide, I’ve been annoying everyone in at work just wanting to drive the Mobil 1 Truck Assist Racing Mustang, so I’m counting down the days before the test and Round 1, can’t wait to get stuck in.” 

Team boss Bruce Stewart said he can’t wait for the Mustang’s to roll out of the transporter in Sydney.

“It’s great to remove the covers off both our Mustangs for 2025,” he said.

“It’s a huge year ahead for Chaz, we came close last year, but it really hurt us all not being in the fight for the championship on the final weekend. The finals format will mix things up this year, which will be extremely exciting for everyone, but we need to start on the right foot to ensure we are in the hunt on the last Sunday.

“This is also going to be a really exciting year for Ryan. He has put in the work over the off season and will be a real contender from early on in the season. He had a really strong rookie season, he showed what he is capable of, but we all have to take another step forward again in 2025, fighting for podiums and race wins, which we all know Ryan is capable of. I’m really excited to see his progression this year, I just can’t wait to get it all underway and get back to business.”
