After another classic Bathurst endurance race has produced another mountain hero.
Racing fanatic turned Peter Brock’s gofer turned successful businessman Kenny Habul secured victory in the 2022 Bathurst 12 Hour on the weekend, driving the Sun Energy Mercedes AMG with fellow amateur driver Martin Konrod, Jules Gounon and Luca Stolz.
The event saw Mercedes claim a podium sweep, but it was the feel-good story that ex-pat Aussie Habul provided.
In the latest episode of Parked Up Plus, hosted by Mark Fogarty, Habul speaks about his emotional win and what it meant to him.
Fogarty also spoke to Walkinshaw Andretti United co-owner Ryan Walkinshaw about how his team’s poor Perth form should be no guide to how they will perform at Winton this weekend, the next round of the Repco Supercars Championship.
