Slade confirmed as Percat’s co-driver for 2025

Slade will team up with Nick Percat in the #10 Bendix Racing Chevrolet Camaro at The Bend (September) and Bathurst 1000 (October) later this year.

Bringing nearly two decades of Supercars experience, Slade joins MSR hot off his full-time career in the Supercars Championship.His expertise, combined with Percat’s recent resurgence – which included two race victories in 2024 – positions MSR as a formidable force this endurance season.

While Percat and Slade have not previously raced together in Supercars enduros, their long-standing friendship spanning over 30 years, as well as prior experience as teammates at Brad Jones Racing, makes this pairing one to watch.

It also sees a pair of South Australian-born drivers teaming up for the state’s first-ever Supercars enduro. Slade has competed as a full-time driver in Supercars since 2009, racking up 451 race starts and multiple race victories. He scored his best championship result of fifth in 2012 with Stone Brothers Racing.Percat enters the 2025 Supercars Championship buoyed by a return of form that saw him claim two race wins last year in his first season with MSR.

Percat finished the season in eighth place and heads into the championship as a leading contender for the title.Slade will participate in all of the team’s test days and will be at the track at selected meetings to integrate himself with the team.The opening round of the 2025 Supercars Championship will be held at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 21-23.

“I’m looking forward to teaming up with Nick and the team at MSR for The Bend and Bathurst later this year. The team has achieved some great results since the inception of Gen3 and Nick obviously had a strong first year with the team, collecting a couple of wins.

“There’s lots of familiar faces having worked with not only Nick previously but also Matt, Jimmy and some of the key staff from SBR back in the day. Another familiar face is James Rosenberg who has had some involvement with the team for a while now, so racing aside, it’s a really nice fit.”

Team Owner Matt Stone believes signing Tim as a co-driver alongside Nick puts MSR in the best position it’s ever been as a team to win the Bathurst 1000.

“It’s great to be reunited with him for the first time since the Stone Brothers Racing days. Tim has been one of the most consistent and respected drivers in the Supercars paddock for almost two decades and we are thrilled to have him onboard. We’re looking forward to working with him across all of our testing and race programs and getting him settled into our outfit.” he said.
