Peter Xiberras confident new-look PremiAir Racing can deliver immediate results
PremiAir Racing has unveiled a refreshed identity ahead of the 2026 Supercars Championship opener at Sydney Motorsport Park, with team owner Peter Xiberras declaring the squad is targeting performance from the outset.
The team revealed its new Camaro livery as part of what Xiberras described as a broader reset for the fifth season of its Supercars program. Major partner Nulon returns for a third year, joined again by Hiflex Mobile Hose Repair and Sailor Studio, while Mr Umami comes on board as a new partner for 2026.
PremiAir began its Supercars journey at Sydney Motorsport Park in 2022, and the 2026 campaign will once again open at the venue with the Sydney 500.
Despite finishing 10th in last year’s Teams’ Championship and undergoing a double driver change, Xiberras rejected the suggestion that 2026 would be a rebuilding year.
“Roland Dane is family within our team now, sitting in the Team Principal’s seat and focused on the job at hand,” Xiberras said.
“Under his leadership, the goal is on performance from day one.”
He said Dane had set clear internal expectations, preferring to let results speak rather than make bold public predictions.
The team heads into the season with a new driver pairing of Declan Fraser and Jayden Ojeda. Fraser brings prior Supercars experience, while Ojeda continues his relationship with the team. Fraser will work with race engineer Simon Hodge, with Ojeda paired once again with Andrew Gilliam. Ludo Lacroix and Romy Mayer continue to provide workshop support.
Both Chevrolet Camaros have undergone full rebuilds over the off-season, with Xiberras praising the efforts of mechanics and crew to ensure the cars are ready to roll out strongly from the first round.
A pre-event test day at Sydney will offer a final opportunity to fine-tune the package before racing begins at the Sydney 500.
