Red Bull Triple Eight racer proves unstoppable as he opens huge series points lead heading into the endurance season
Broc Feeney has clinched the 2025 Repco Sprint Cup in his Triple Eight Camaro and cemented his spot in the Finals as he dominated last weekend’s Ipswich Super440.
The 22-year-old has opened a commanding lead in the Repco Supercars Championship heading into the endurance races and Finals.
Feeney claimed his 12th win from 24 starts this season in Sunday’s Race 25, overcoming wild weather, multiple Safety Cars, and a late charge from Tickford Mustang driver Cam Waters.

Feeney, who grew up in Queensland, thrilled his home crowd with the dominant display, which almost saw him take a clean sweep of the event. He only dropped Saturday’s second race following a penalty for a jump-start. That race was eventually won by his teammate Will Brown.
“I really wanted to win this one, especially here at home,” Feeney said.
“They threw everything at us today: the weather, the Safety Car, you name it. To come out of that in fourth and go straight back to the lead was incredible.”
Following the Sprint Cup, Feeney is 337 points clear of his teammate and defending Supercars Champion, Brown.
Others to impress in the final race included Waters – who produced one of the drives of the season, charging from 19th to second, and rookie Kai Allen, who surged from 22nd to third in his Penrite Mustang after an inspired strategy call during the race’s pivotal Safety Car period.
The weekend’s results mean Brown and Grove Racing’s Matt Payne have also clinched provisional Finals berths, with both holding more than a 600-point buffer over ninth in the championship table.
Mount Gambier’s Allen and Kiwi youngster Ryan Wood – in his Walkinshaw Andretti United Mustang – were standouts on Saturday with Wood claiming podiums in both races, while Allen took second place behind Feeney in the opening sprint.
The Queensland Raceway venue provided some great racing on Sunday and despite the intermittent rain throughout the weekend, spectators flocked to the Ipswich circuit for its first appearance on the calendar in a few seasons, as fans gave the big thumbs up to the recent renovations of the facilities at the Tony Quinn-owned venue.
The Championship now heads into the all-important endurance season with next month’s Bend 500 taking over from the traditional Sandown 500 as the opening Endurance Cup event.
