Perkins joins Walls for enduros
Bathurst veteran Jack Perkins returns to Enduro Cup at Objective Racing in 2026 campaign
Objective Racing has confirmed Jack Perkins will partner rookie Jackson Walls in the #11 Ford Mustang for the 2026 Supercars Enduro Cup, marking Perkins’ 21st Bathurst 1000 start.
The announcement, made in conjunction with Triple Eight Race Engineering, who will manage the Objective Racing Mustang as its third entry in the championship, sees the experienced Perkins join Walls for the endurance rounds at The Bend Motorsport Park in September and the Bathurst 1000 in October.
Perkins’ inclusion brings significant experience to the new-look Objective Racing outfit. The 38-year-old has built a reputation as one of the category’s most dependable co-drivers and will reach a notable milestone with his 21st Bathurst start this year. His recent racing schedule has included co-driving duties alongside James Courtney and two NASCAR Xfinity Series appearances in the United States with Joe Gibbs Racing, competing on the Portland road course and the streets of Chicago.
He has also spent five years as part of the Seven Network’s Supercars broadcast team, providing technical analysis while balancing driving commitments. For 2026, Perkins will step back from those media duties to focus fully on his Enduro Cup campaign with Objective Racing.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be joining Objective Racing alongside Jackson Walls,” Perkins said.
“Coming in as a co-driver, I can’t wait to be involved with one of the most successful outfits in Supercars in Triple Eight, and their upcoming new team.”
Perkins said he was keen to support Walls in his maiden endurance campaign, noting the rookie’s strong performances in Porsche Carrera Cup and Super2. He also highlighted the personal significance of competing in car #11 at Bathurst, a number synonymous with the Perkins family after his father’s three Bathurst victories in the 1990s.
Walls welcomed the partnership, describing Perkins as “reliable” and “fast when he needs to be” and praising the depth of experience he brings to the team.
The 2026 Supercars Championship season begins at Sydney Motorsport Park in February, with the Enduro Cup rounds scheduled for The Bend in September and Bathurst in October.
