Tommy Smith unveils 2026 Super2 livery ahead of first pre-season test at Sydney Motorsport Park
Matt Stone Racing has unveiled the 2026 Super2 livery for rising Australian talent Tommy Smith, which will make its first on-track appearance this morning at Sydney Motorsport Park during the opening test of the year.
The striking new design features a bold, bright red base complemented by sharp silver and black detailing, creating a modern and aggressive look that is sure to stand out in the Super2 field throughout the season. Backed by major supporter SCT Logistics, the livery reflects both performance and presence as Smith prepares for his debut Super2 campaign.
The Sydney test marks an important milestone for Matt Stone Racing as the team begins its on-track preparations for the 2026 Super2 season. Early pre-season running has been encouraging, with the team pleased with the initial results and focused on gathering further data ahead of the opening round. The test also provides valuable seat time for Smith, who returns to tin-top racing after spending the past several years competing overseas in open-wheel categories including Indy NXT and Formula 3.
MSR CEO Matt Stone said the team is excited by the progress made so far and the opportunity to work closely with Smith as he transitions into Super2 competition.
