MSR launches 2026 Supercars campaign
The Queensland-based Chevrolet squad revealed its two 2026 Supercars entries for Jack Le Brocq and Zach Bates
Matt Stone Racing has launched its 2026 season in style, in front of a large audience comprising of team partners, staff, family and friends, and many onlookers at a popular outdoor venue.
The team lifted the covers off its 2026 Supercars championship entries: The No.4 Sherrin Rentals and No.10 Bendix Racing Chevrolet Camaros, to be driven respectively by the experienced Jack Le Brocq and young gun Zach Bates.
Both drivers were in attendance, alongside popular team founder and owner Matt Stone.
“It’s an important year for our team. We have invested significantly in our people in the off-season to supercharge our growth and rise to the top”, team boss Matt Stone said.
“There’s a real buzz in our workshop this year, the whole team is determined to succeed on and off-track. I’m very pleased with the direction we’re headed as an organisation, and I can’t wait for racing to begin in Sydney later this month.”
The #4 Sherrin Rentals is adorned with a striking combination of gold and navy blue, reflecting the colours of naming-rights partner Sherrin Rentals and major partner Tyrepower.
Returning to the team he shared great success with, Jack Le Brocq will steer the #4 Sherrin Rentals Chevrolet Camaro.
“I’m thrilled to partner back with Matt and the team. We had great success together, especially our win in Darwin in 2023, and I love Matt’s relentless determination to drive the team forward. I can’t wait to get behind the wheel of the Sherrin Rentals Camaro,” Le Brocq said.
The #10 entry will continue to carry the eye-catching Bendix Racing blue colour for the third-year running.
Youngster Zach Bates, 21, one of Australian motorsport’s most promising rising stars, will drive the #10 Bendix Racing Camaro for his first full-time season in the Supercars championship.
“The past couple of years have been amazing for me: Winning the Super2 championship in 2024, and partnering with a legend like Craig Lowndes in 2025. Now, I’m thrilled to take the next step by joining Matt Stone Racing. I’ve got plenty to learn, but I’ve got the right team behind me and I can’t wait to go racing,” Bates said.
The first round of the Supercars season is at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 20-22.
