Ludo Lacroix moves from Dick Johnson Racing to PremiAir Racing in 2024.

Engineering guru Ludo Lacroix will be joining PremiAir Racing from the commencement of the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship, following his departure from Dick Johnson Racing at the end of 2023.

Lacroix will work in an undisclosed role in PremiAir Racing’s engineering department, with the team entering its third Supercars season in 2024.

Lacroix was the technical director at Triple Eight for many years as well as designing the aero for the BF, FG and VF of the Ford and Holden Championship-winning cars and leading the engineering team that secured championships before moving to Dick Johnson Racing, where he engineered Scott McLaughlin to the 2018, 2019 and 2020 Supercars championships.

“We are exceptionally pleased to have someone of Ludo’s calibre joining the PremiAir Racing team,” said PremiAir Racing team owner Peter Xiberras.

“It is no secret that we are dedicated to having the best people on our team, and clearly Ludo is a heavyweight in his field.

“With Ludo and Stephen [team manager Stephen Robertson] having worked together previously at Triple Eight, there is also an aspect of getting the band back together which I think will serve us well in 2024.”
