Kiwi superstars team-up?

Holden hero Garth Tander’s shock switch to Ford next year could have an unexpected consequence.

Tander is giving up his Bathurst-winning partnership with Shane van Gisbergen at Triple Eight to join upstart squad Grove Racing for the endurance races.

His move opens the way for a surprise superstar replacement to partner SVG in the Sandown 500 and Bathurst 1000.

As well as hearing directly from Tander on his big change, the latest PARKED UP PLUS podcast speculates that Triple Eight has targeted Scott McLaughlin.

The former DJR Team Penske Ford star is a Chevrolet driver in IndyCar, so guest co-driving in a Triple Eight Chev Camaro wouldn’t be a manufacturer clash.
