Gen3 prototypes undergo aero testing 

Supercars’ Gen3 Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro prototypes have undergone aerodynamic parity testing.

The Camaro and Mustang were tested at Toowoomba’s Wellcamp Airport, two hours west of Brisbane.

They were driven by Porsche Carrera Cup drivers Harri Jones and Bayley Hall. 

Homologation teams Triple Eight Race Engineering and Dick Johnson Racing attended the straight-line testing, which was undertaken by Supercars’ technical team.

It marked the first side-by-side aerodynamic testing of the Gen3 cars, which will make their racing debuts in 2023.
