After a long off season, the Victorian entrants of the Supercars championship hit the track at Winton Motor Raceway for the pre-season test day.

The day proved valuable for the many drivers who had changed teams over summer, as well as the young stars making their main game debuts. With several endurance pairings also announced during the week, a handful of the new co-drivers cut laps for their new teams.

Amongst those who cut laps were the new Brad Jones Racing co-drivers Jaylyn Robotham and former Tickford driver Declan Fraser. Jayden Ojeda took the wheel of the #1 Erebus Motorsport Camaro, with the prospect of a co-drive mooted for the young star, whilst Tyler Everingham took the wheel of Thomas Randle’s #55 Tickford Mustang.

The day also marked the first public appearance of the new-look Erebus Motorsport team, with Todd Hazelwood taking the reigns of the #1 Camaro vacated by 2023 champion Brodie Kostecki. With the team also losing major backer Coca-Cola in the last week, Hazelwood and team-mate Jack Le Brocq’s Camaros sported plain Erebus branding, with no hints offered towards what comes next for last years champions.
