Fullwood ready for action
The Darwin-born driver believes this year will be pivitol.
Brad Jones Racing driver, Bryce Fullwood, is looking to build on the momentum from the backend of last season at the Sydney 500 (February 21-23) in the trusty Middy’s Racing #14 Camaro.
“This year is going to be pivotal for me and the team,” he said.
“We saw through last year what we’re capable of. There were sparks of speed and then we were able to string everything together and get a podium.
“We know what we can achieve and it’s about getting it all right at the right time. The aim is to make sure we have that consistency through the full year.
“I cannot wait to get on track in Sydney. It’s odd looking forward to a test day but I just want to get this year underway and get racing.”
Middy’s Electrical’s striking pink will adorn Fullwood’s Supercar for the opening round of the Championship.
With minimal tweaks to the design from 2024, the much loved colours will also appear on the car in Darwin (Darwin Triple Crown 20-21st June) and at Sandown (Sandown 500, 14-16 November).
The Camaro will feature the same eye-catching colour scheme that was on the podium in Tasmania – Fullwood’s first for BJR.
Middy’s Electrical has demonstrated their enduring commitment in their role within Fullwood’s journey in Supercars, which commenced during his early karting career and has spanned 14 years.
While the major partner on Fullwood’s #14 Camaro will rotate throughout the season, Middy’s remains as an integral partner of both Fullwood and BJR.
The 2025 season promises fresh challenges, but Fullwood is confident in the team’s work during the latter part of last year and over the off season, that he can attack the competition from the first lights out.
The 26-year-old’s fourth season with BJR will start with the official pre-season test at Sydney Motorsport Park (19/02) just days before he lines up for the first race on Friday (21/02).
“Middy’s Electrical have been a part of my career since I was a kid and I’m thrilled that they’re still part of the journey. I have to thank Nicholas and Anton Middendorp, as well as everyone in the Middy’s team for their support for over 14 years,” Fullwood said.
