Erebus boss lashes out at pitlane poachers

PARKED UP PLUS podcast reveals Erebus Motorsport team boss’ frustration with driver poaching.

20 June 2022

As speculation swirls about Supercars driver moves, Erebus Motorsport’s blunt boss has spoken out against moves to poach his team’s talent.

Will Brown and Brodie Kostecki are out of contract at the end of this season, and open to offers from bigger teams.

Pitlane scuttlebutt is that Dick Johnson Racing is looking to replace Will Davison with Brown.

The speculation has incensed Erebus Motorsport team boss Barry Ryan, still stung by Anton De Pasquale’s defection to Dick Johnson Racing last year.

In the latest PARKED UP PLUS podcast, Ryan vents his feelings. In a profanity ridden rage, he unloads on pitlane poachers amid widespread speculation that Brown has been targeted by Dick Johnson Racing to replace Davison next year.

The latest PARKED UP PLUS podcast also reveals that Triple Eight Race Engineering founder Roland Dane will be in charge of the team’s Repco Bathurst 1000 wildcard entry.

Although ostensibly retired, Dane will return to run Craig Lowndes and rookie Declan Fraser in the 2022 Great Race.

He tells PARKED UP PLUS why he’ll be back to oversee the Supercheap Auto wildcard entry.
