Dates confirmed for 2023 Australian Grand Prix

The 2023 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix will run from March 30 until April 2, with the Repco Supercars Championship back on track at Albert Park.

While the date is pending confirmation by the FIA World Motor Sport Council, it appears a formality.

Albert Park recently signed a new 10-year agreement that will commence from 2025, keeping the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne until 2035.

Supercars will remain on the Australian Grand Prix support bill despite the inclusion of Formula 1 feeder categories Formula 2 and Formula 3 in Melbourne.

The Supercars round at Albert Park has been included in the championship since 2018.

The 2023 Supercars season is set to commence in Newcastle on March 10 to 12, three weeks before the Australian Grand Prix.

The Gen3 era debuts in 2023 with the introduction of the Chevrolet Camaro alongside the Ford Mustang.
