Crick confirmed for Townsville wildcard return
Cameron Crick will drive Matt Stone Racing wildcard and join Jack Le Brocq for endurance season
Matt Stone Racing has confirmed Cameron Crick will return to the team’s Supercars wildcard program in 2026, headlining the squad’s entry for the NTI Townsville 500.
Crick will pilot the team’s wildcard Chevrolet Camaro at the North Queensland event, while also stepping into a co-driver role alongside Jack Le Brocq in the No.4 Sherrin Rentals Camaro for the endurance races later in the season.
The Townsville wildcard entry will be supported by EFS 4×4 Accessories and Dormer HVAC, with the car set to appear in a new livery that will be unveiled ahead of the event.
The announcement continues Crick’s association with Matt Stone Racing following his involvement in the team’s wildcard program over the past two seasons. In 2025 he drove the No.35 Sherrin Rentals Camaro, building on his earlier experience as an enduro co-driver with the squad in 2024.
Matt Stone Racing owner Matt Stone said the decision to bring Crick back into the team was straightforward after his performances and approach during previous campaigns.
“We’re excited to continue to build on the strong relationship we have with Cameron,” Stone said.
“He did a great job with us in the wildcard program, and his approach, feedback and commitment really stood out. Cameron is someone we value highly as part of the Matt Stone Racing family.”
Stone added that Crick’s return would provide continuity across the team’s wildcard and endurance programs, with the driver pairing alongside Le Brocq expected to deliver a competitive package during the long-distance events.
Crick said he was looking forward to continuing with the team and forming a new enduro partnership with Le Brocq.
“I’m really excited to be teaming up with Jack and to be continuing with the MSR wildcard program,” Crick said.
“I’ve loved my time with the team so far and I’m grateful to Matt and the team for their support. Jack is a great guy and a great driver, and I think we’ll work well together.”
The combination of Le Brocq and Crick is expected to be a strong pairing for the endurance events as Matt Stone Racing looks to build on a solid start to the current season. Le Brocq currently sits sixth in the Supercars drivers’ championship standings.
