Change of date for 2026 Sandown 500

The Sandown 500 has moved forward one week on the Repco Supercars Championship calendar.

Sandown shifts to November 6-8 and remains as the Final Four decider for the Adelaide Grand Final.

Returfing of the Melbourne Racing Club’s Caulfield track forced an unavoidable scheduling clash at Sandown.

Sadly the date move has meant the demise of the Victorian Historic Racing Register-promoted Sandown Historics meeting for 2026. The event has been cancelled after Sandown custodian, Melbourne Racing Club, gave their date to Supercars.
