BRT unveils bold 2026 liveries

Golding says “car looks unreal” as team reveals new-look Mustangs ahead of Sydney Supercars opener

12 February 2026

Blanchard Racing Team (BRT) has revealed the 2026 liveries for its two Ford Mustangs ahead of the opening round of the Supercars Championship in Sydney on February 20.

The #3 Liqui Moly Blahst Racing Ford Mustang will be driven by Aaron Cameron, with Zak Best joining for the endurance rounds. The 2026 campaign marks the first time Liqui Moly and Blahst have combined as co-naming rights partners in Supercars under a multi-year agreement.

On the other side of the garage, Jimmy Golding will steer the #7 CoolDrive Racing Ford Mustang, with Richie Stanaway joining the line-up for the endurance events. The season represents a milestone for CoolDrive, entering its fifth year with BRT and a decade in the championship, while also marking the first time the CoolDrive entry has changed numbers under the BRT banner.

Golding said he was energised by the new-look Mustang heading into the season opener.

“The car looks unreal. The CoolDrive blue is iconic, and it’s a nice change for me personally to roll out in something that stands out like this,” Golding said.

“Heading into this season, I feel like I’m in a really strong place. The relationship I’ve built with the crew already makes it feel like home. I can’t wait to roll out in Sydney.”

Team principal Tim Blanchard described the car designs as one of the biggest shifts the team has made with the brand’s livery in Supercars, with a focus on stronger alignment across both sides of the garage.

Both Mustangs will make their on-track debut under lights in Sydney as BRT looks to build momentum from the opening round of the 2026 season.
