BRT confirms Best as enduro driver

Zac Best has re-joined joined Blanchard Racing Team for this year’s enduros at Bathurst and The Bend following his successful outings with the team in 2025. He will join Aaron Cameron in the # 3 Liqui Moly Blahst Racing Ford Mustang.

His consistent speed throughout his career, adaptability across categories and experience were central to the team’s decision, further reinforced by his performance at Bathurst last year.

“I’ve spent a lot of time with the team over the past year, so coming back in for the enduros feels like a natural continuation which I’m really happy about,” Best said.

“Bathurst last season showed what we are capable of when things come together and that we can fight towards the front when the opportunities are there. I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do this year.”

Team Principal and co-owner of BRT, Tim Blanchard, said Zak has been consistently strong in every car he has raced over the years.

“His performances at Bathurst, particularly last year in the wet, have really stood out. He is a great character within the team, but we know that when it is time to go racing, we can rely on him to deliver.”

Cameron believes Best will slot right into the team’s routine and will provid continuity.

“Zak fits straight in with how we operate,” Cameron said.

“He knows the team, understands the demands and is easy to work with, both in and out of the car. That familiarity is important, and I think we have a great opportunity to give the enduros a real crack this year.”
