BP Indigenous liveries revealed

BP backs Indigenous round with new look.

15 June 2022

The BP Ultimate Safety Car and Tickford Racing’s Thomas Randle entry will feature a livery by Indigenous artist Les ‘Lipwurrunga’ Huddleston at this week’s Merlin Darwin Triple Crown.

The livery has been designed by Huddleston, of the Roper River region of Arnhem Land and a descendant of the Ngundi people.

The painting features fish and a billabong which symbolises an important Top End life source.

The livery will remain on the BP-backed Mustang for the NTI Townsville 500 to celebrate NAIDOC week beginning on Sunday July 3.
