Bottas to drive Bathurst-winning Commodore in Adelaide
Valtteri Bottas set to drive the 2016 Bathurst 1000-winning VF Commodore at the Adelaide Motorsport Festival.
Finnish Formula 1 race winner Valtteri Bottas drive the 2016 Bathurst 1000-winning Holden VF Commodore at the 2023 Adelaide Motorsport Festival next weekend.
Bottas will be guided by Craig Lowndes in his initiation to a Supercar, with the Finn in Tekno Autosports’ Bathurst-winning VF Commodore and Lowndes in Triple Eight Race Engineering’s 2022 Adelaide 500-winning Holden ZB Commodore.
The demonstration will take place on Sunday March 26, with the Adelaide Motorsport Festival returning after a five-year absence on a shortened version of the Adelaide Street Circuit that hosts the Adelaide 500.
The event includes a new V8 Supercar category as part of its on-track demonstrations, headlined by the 2016 Bathurst 1000 and 2022 Adelaide 500 winners, the latter the last Holden to win in the Australian Touring Car Championship/Supercars.
