All change at MSR for 2026

Matt Stone Racing aims high with key personnel decisions

16 January 2026

Matt Stone Racing has announced a series of decisive personnel changes as the team targets the next level of performance both on and off track. Following sustained on-track success and steady organisational growth, the changes mark the beginning of a new chapter for the team – building on strong foundations and focusing on both efficiency and long-term competitiveness.

Matt Stone Racing has recorded at least one race win in each of the past three seasons, an achievement that reflects the strength of its people and processes. With that momentum, the team is now focused on converting flashes of success into sustained Championship contention.

At the centre of the restructure are several key internal promotions:

  • Paul Forgie has been appointed Team Manager, overseeing operations and performance delivery.
  • Jack Bellotti steps into the role of Head of Engineering, leading the team’s technical direction, having previously been the Race Engineer for Car No.10.
  • Oli Boone has been promoted to Race Engineer for Jack Le Brocq on Car No.4, building on a strong foundation from the end of 2025 when he took charge of Car No.10.
  • Caleb Mutsaerts continues as Race Engineer, working with Zach Bates on Car No.10.
  • Simon Helps has been promoted from No.1 Mechanic to Crew Chief.

The team has also strengthened its operation with strategic new appointments:

  • Charles Bratt joins as Super2 Lead Engineer, working closely with Jason McDermott, who continues to lead the Super2 and Wildcard programs.
  • Nick Testu has been appointed Head of Commercial, supporting the continued growth of the business off-track.

Team owner Matt Stone said the changes reflect the team’s ambitions and belief in its people.

“2026 is looking like our best year to date,” Stone said.

“We have made some adjustments to our structure internally with a view to gain efficiencies and produce even better results on and off-track. We’ve also recruited additional people in key areas of the business to continue to grow the team.”

Stone added that the strength of the organisation lies in its culture.

“We have a great group of like-minded, driven people across the entire organisation. The foundations are in place, and now is the time to level up.”

With an experienced leadership group, emerging engineering talent, and expanded commercial focus, Matt Stone Racing enters its next phase with clear intent – to turn potential into consistent performance and challenge at the front of the field.
