2023 NED Whisky Tasmania SuperSprint event guide

The battle between Erebus Motorsport and Triple Eight Race Engineering is heating up entering the fourth event of the 2023 Repco Supercars Championship, the NED Whisky Tasmania SuperSprint at Symmons Plains Raceway.

The Chevrolet teams have won all but one race in 2023 – the only defeat coming following a disqualification for Triple Eight – with all four of the teams’ drivers winning a race.

Erebus’ Brodie Kostecki leads the championship by 100 points from the consistent Chaz Mostert of Walkinshaw Andretti United, with Shane van Gisbergen, Will Brown and Broc Feeney rounding out the top five.

With the Camaro leading the way ahead of the Mustang, the fast and flowing Symmons Plains will provide an interesting gauge for how the Gen3 cars shape up and whether the Mustang can fight back.
